The engine runs with the kill switch on. Also the engine sounds like it'll turn off with the kill switch off but starts up again.

All close birthdays haha. So anywayss.. When you start the engine are the wheels suppose to spin? I thought the wheels shouldn't spin unless you press the gas pedal.

All close birthdays haha.

My sons BD is Dec 18 (exactly a week before christmas), one nephew is dec 22 & another is on Dec 25 (Christmas day!)

So anywayss.. When you start the engine are the wheels suppose to spin? I thought the wheels shouldn't spin unless you press the gas pedal.

If the rear wheels are elevated (good on you ) the rear wheels will spin regardless...

Yeah i'll post a video later:)
The engine goes slow without pressing on the gas but it doesnt speed up the wheels gradually you have to press the gas pedal all the way and it goes as fast as the engine will. Also you'll see in the video it shakes alot lol

Hmmm....so now we're down to ....."I have to press to hard to make it go....and too hard to make it stop"......and you're a girl???? ,

Just kidding. ...

This is going to sound a little crazy.....but how new is your air filter? ???,,

So let's start like my favorite dates....cheap and easy. .....remove the air filter and see what it does........

It should be noted to anyone out there!!!!!!!:
Do NOT ever run your motor without an air filter. Just think about it, driving down the street kicking up rocks, dirt, etc etc etc. Now, your engine is also sucking in air as hard as it can... Like a vacuum. Now, let's put 2 and 2 together. Your engine will suck this stuff in. Now, your carb will take in all of this bring it down into your engine block where you have your piston, crank, and below that, your can governor etc etc etc, causing bad damage. Engine breaking damage. Friend had a motovox gas scooter (like a goped)- "It's faster without the air filter" he said- and it is... Guess what doesn't run anymore?? Mhm...

Now, special exceptions can be made for when it's logical (like to test something), so this is a perfect time to take off the air filter, especially since duckie has it up in blocks; meaning its not kicking up dirt and rocks.

Duckie: I know you said you get confused easily... DEFINITELY listen to poboys advice. This is the perfect time to take off the air filter, because that could be your problem. WHEN your kart is fixed and you are riding it around, never run without an air filter!!
