Looking good!!! Looks very safe too. I thought I seen a frame shaped like that some where, I had to find the site before I posted.

Have you been to that site before? The guys trying to build a DIY lambo go kart or something, I found the site by accident months ago and bookmarked it. If you havent been to that site before, maybe you and that guy are twins seperated at birth or something, lol.

Now stop reading the forums... Get that motor on... And record a test run video.
Videos are what make us all giddy like school girls..

has anyone got an alternative to araldite, (or glue as they didnt hold) to stick the black outer cable to your engine, for my throttle? i have realised the black bit has to be fixed otherwise it doesnt work lol!

I might just be having a moment here, but what are you trying to glue? Black outer cable makes me think throttle, then I ask myself why you would glue your throttle cable...

If you are talking about the throttle cable and gluing it to the engine block I would suggest mounting it with clamps or something not with glue.

Take a picture of what your trying to do.

Your block is grounded to your kart chasis or you could run a small ground strap from the block to the chasis. You didnt need that second long wire back to the coil.

All you had to do was run the one wire from the coil then ground it to your kart chasis. You didnt need that second long ground wire. But if you ground to the chasis you must make sure your engine block is grounded to your frame in some way.

Its more effeicnt the way I sugested it as long as you have a good ground between your block and motor mount (No paint/rust)

I have seen a 2 wire kill switch on factory kart before, but they were karts with the rubber motor mounts (for vibration). The mount bolt for the block was more then enough, but I always wondered why they didn’t just ground strap the motor to the frame. :rolleyes3:
