I swapped out the automatic choke. I'll show u a picture of the hoses but the hose that connects to the petcock looks like its getting gas in it.

where does the hose going upward go to?

Also, is there fuel in those hoses? should only be air in them or the engine wont run right.

The Petcock. So it wont run with an air filter on. If i do put it on gas comes out. Also smells like something burning o.o and the hose thats connected to the petcock is getting fuel in it.

So the whole vaccum set up is getting gas from the petcock. So gas would be getting into the cylinder because i pulled that hose and gas was coming out.

Then the petcock isn't working right because there should be no fuel in the vacuum lines or else the engine will be getting fuel dumped into the manifold and flooding. I though that you had switched to a manual petcock instead of vacuum actuated?

I had the manuel one on but it didn't work at the time and i was going to switch it again but someone told me i need the vaccum line connected still.

The vacuum line will just need to be plugged off. You can stick a bolt into it to plug it. As long as the manual petcock allows fuel to flow out, then it would be working fine. Fuel in the vacuum lines is all bad.

Okay so i'll change to the manuel petcock and stick a bolt into the vaccum line. Hopefully that works.

Fuel flows easily. Got a screw in the vaccum line. Gas started pouring out of the air filter hole.

Will it run? It sounds like you might need the vacuum petcock to keep fuel from leaking when the engine isn't running, but the vacuum petcock you have is bad. If it runs then you should just need a new petcock like the original.

I hope so too:) So working on the go kart again. It starts for a bit and i pump the gas pedal and it stays running for a nit then shuts off but still gas is coming out where the air filter goes and white smoke coming out the exhaust. Also white smoking coming out of the air filter hole.

It sounds to me like it has a piece of trash in the needle and seat. Take it all apart again and blow carb cleaner through everything you can (particularly the seat passage) find and try again.

Its a brand new carb and i have looked at all the valves and everything in the carb.

It may be the manifold because everytime i have taken off the carb it has like gas on the opening where the manifold sits. Also was adjusting the float today. Got it to stop overflowing like crazy but carb isnt getting enough gas now so going to be messing with that.
