It only hurts the drug-addled brain but a sober person sees this as a logical procession of troubleshooting. They are slowly verifying through the process of elimination. ;)

Better get some more, it's 1700 somewhere.

I honestly don't think this is the thread I was trying to post that to.
I'm sorry, Carry on.

Yeah i just came to a conclusion that i'm better off just buying a new carb because also i wouldn't have been able to fix the fuel/air ratio because the screw has a welch plug on it and even if something goes wrong i know it can't be the carb since i bought a new one.

So guys.. Not to sure what to do now. Put the new carb on and gas still comes out of the air fikter area /:

Oh wait! I decided to check the oil and actually smell it. Gas is getting into the oil. Would draining it out just work or do i need to take apart more stuff?

Wait you replaced the carb and gas is still leaking?? I'm lost now! and fuel in your oil? This seems crazy, maybe gas is filling your cylinder and leaking past the rings or valves/head gasket?? I'm very curious to see what is happening..

Yeah me too. New carb i put on today, gas still leaking out of where the air filter goes and gas in the oil. I even asked two people if it smelt like gas and it does. Not to sure what to do next now. Never worked with these engines so not sure what could be the solution to my problem.

Can you post a picture of the whole carburetor, and where the oil is coming out?

Yeah i will. I opened the oil Reservoir and that's what has all the gas. No real oil leaking out but there is this part in the casing that seems like it might be leaking something? Not to sure but i'll post pictures.

Your piston rings might be letting the gas and a lot of the compression into your crankcase, and that would cause your oil to smell like gas, but the gas leaking after putting on a new carburetor is confusing..

I'm interested to see if the fuel pump has the vacuum lines run correctly. , if it's pumping full pressure all the time, it'll blow the needle right off the seat.

So this is the new carb. Hopefully these are good enough pictures for you. The last picture is the spot that looks like something was leaking out. Don't mind the wet spots it just rained when I took these pictures.

That seems like it's the correct routing, according to some diagrams I've googled.

If the gas is leaking into the crankcase, then it's the breather.
To resolve, find where breather is and then post close-up pics ;)

Actually, take the breather cover off before pics;)
