Do you believe it is proper to make a safety waist belt ?

NO! If it flips, you want him to be thrown clear & not trapped under it; only use safety belts if there is a roll cage or roll bar above his head...

Oh, BTW, can I have a copy of the plans? I have two 1yo grandkids, I think I could throw out two of those over the next 4 years :lolgoku:. How much did you spend on parts?

WHAT?! That's it? O yeah, I see my baby boy getting one of these..... Yes, please put up what ever info you can. I basically need the electrical components. I think I can replicate the rest.
I showed a few of the videos to the guys here at work. Unanimous statement, ...... "That's bad "arse"!!" :lolgoku:.....
Man I tell you what. You've got to be really proud of your self for that build. You went all out, and it shows. It also shows how much love you have for your son, to spend the time to build it. Not just build it, but to make it as great as you can. I don't know what else you got in you, but you took this build to the "next level". Your son will definitely remember this his entire life, and loves you for it..... Today, you got my "dad of the day" nomination......:thumbsup:
It's builds like this that really, truly bring it back to the heart of what karting is. FAMILY...... Family fun, family time, and best of all, the memories of great times.....
If its at all possible, I'd like to request that this build be entered into this year's build off. I don't remember call when he stated that the build began, but if it all falls within the rules and guidelines, I say put it in there........ It's definitely a contender.......

That little electric set up he has, has a lot more in it as far as performance goes.... He has it dialed in low, for the rookie race car driver.....
Yes I know, but he said that he want to put a powerful engine the next summer. A gas engine would be a great upgrade when the kid be more skilled.

I love gas engines but I don't think I can fit one of them in that little kart.
I put one 49cc engine in a 12" bike. You can do it in your go kart.

First I would like to thank you for your kind words!
From the time I decide to do this built from start , I made some research and get inspired for gokart builds and plans ,photos from diygokarts.com , modifiedpowerwheels.com and some other forums !
Ofcourse you must use your knowledge your brain and all your skills you have to make your built as great as you can.
Parent's love for their kid is the motive to devote as much time as you can to make it greater!

This is just flat out impressive. Kouvpasir, I commend you for researching and building this fun little kart. It appears to be perfect for your son, and he obviously enjoys it. I have deep respect for all fathers and mothers who take time to make such things for their children. We need more of you in the world.

Wow. I am just amazed at this Kart. I know i'm new to all this but. Wow. Just wow. Very nice job from start to finish!

If i had any skill at all i would start building this now for my grandkids! (P.S my kid is only 10 so that seems about the right amount of time it would take me to start working on this)

Great job!
