I was just thinking there is a good chance you'll have to take all of those bolts out and remove that rear cover to get the hub to turn, unless it was well greased when it was originally assembled it's likely going to be stuck in place from corrosion, it doesn't take much.

try this, if that don't work just keep loosening bolts till it moves to where you want it. remember to keep the weight off the axle.

With that bolt loose does the axle slide back and forth in the hub? If it was me I'd find a proper width washer to fill the gap and just bolt it down and see how it works.

no it doesnt move, yea was thinking that, only thing is am still sure that the claiper has moved on that side, if you look back thru the pics ur see it has sorta droped, and one nut is almost touching well is resting i think on the part of the caliper that sits on the wheel, it still moves forward fine but havent taken it for a spin yet

hi there matey just gonna drive u mad again before i lose the day light here, got sum washers and losened a few bits and bobs and some how got the nut in :) whoooo only thing is it still really looks to me as if the brake claiper thing has droped and there is a nut sitting/resting on sumin i am sure it wasnt before. Saying this thou the actual brake pad bit itself seams to be total lined up and in the right place (i think :p) can u take a quick peck at these new pics and tell me ur thoughts pls mate

if you notice here, it doesnt look stright, or at same level, on the left side the side ive been working on with the chain etc it looks more up right, the silver thing i mean by the wheel, (oh u know am sure lol) and on the right hand side it seams to face a little more down, hopefully these pics will give u an idea of what i am trying to say,

I would try rotating the hub the other way, like turn it in the direction so the chain gets loose and keep turning it till it gets tight again that should make the axle ride higher in the housing like the right side. that would also cause the brake caliper to come back up. you might have to loosen up that black thing that has the wires coming out of it (speed sensor?) to do that.

So is that cart actually street legal? it looks like it has the proper lights to be.

ok irll try that, do u think that would poss help with my new problem ? lol bacsially i took her just up the road yesterday to see how the chain felt, and it seams ok i think but i didnt go far as its really pulling to the right hand sie, so much so that it is hard work to keep stright, when the wheel is central (when stantionery) the right hand side wheel looks slightly outta line as in not stright forward, but not so as u would think the way it is pulling ? i wondered if it was sumin to do with the chain maybe ?
