i think the right side the chain is to tight thats my guess. are you sure all your tires are inflated to the same pressures?

Definitely check your air pressure first.

But... if you've changed the overal length of one of your rear hub/swing arm assembly to adjust its chain, you'll probably have to also adjust the other sides swing arm to a fairly equal overal length to get your rear tires equaly aligned to each other. If your wheelbase is longer on one side, that could be causing your pulling issue.

That black thing with the wires coming out of it looks like it's bolted to what I am refering to as the hub, that is what I think you need to spin to get your axles level if one axle is higher than the other than that would cause the cart to drive funny, it would be like you're constantly sidehilling, i wouldn't think that little bit would cause it to drive as badly as what you describe but it could be possible.

There is also a possibility that the hub has another sleave inside it that you could turn in the opposit direction that your turning the hub so you could tension the chain without affecting the axle height. I'll draw a picture to try to explain thow this would work.

I don't know, why did Saab put their engines in backwards? Because they can! Engineers can never leave well enough alone, because then they'd be out of a job.

Assuming that first pic is sideways I'd think that plug in the side is the fill hole, you should just fill it up till it starts to come out the hole. I can't say for sure what fluid it would take it could be engine oil, gear oil, atf, or something else. I would clean the area around the drain plug and put a clean container under it to catch the fluid and drain it, you want to keep the fluid as clean as possible because you might end up reusing it lol. Then take what you drained out to a parts store and see if they can help identify it. You should also get a long skinny funnel while you're there, unless it turns out to be gear oil those containers usually have a built in tip for going in holes like that.

well hey, it was totaly empty when i went to drain it so i added sum lube and took her up the road, the kicking was still there and as i got back, it made a bigger clunking sound then abit of rattling now it only reves and wont move, does this mean the gear box is dead ? is there anyway i can tell with out taking the whole thing out ? andany ideas where i can get these parts i need, the engie model number is CF172MM ?

I think the gearbox you added the lube to is the forward reverse gearbox your actual transmission is probably attached to the engine, it might be a constant velocity transmission with belt drive and you may have just broke a belt, if you're lucky. If you have a plastic cover on the side of your engine take it off and look for the belt. One thing you could try to see if the gearbox is the culprit is have someone sit in the kart and try to go while you look at the shaft that goes into the gearbox if it's spinning then the gearbox is the problem, if it isn't then it's the transmission.

I'd say the next step would be to run it without the cover to see what isn't working. The driven pulley (the one on the right) should turn easily by hand if it doesn't the problem might still be in your gearbox or the bearings on the shaft that goes from the engine to the gearbox might be seized. I doubt you hurt anything by putting oil in the gearbox, if the gearbox is the problem I'm sure the damage was already done before you put the lube in.
