I've always thought a cool feature for a barstool racer would be designing the seat to have a few inches of forward/back adjustment.

Like welding the Stool to the adjustable bucket seat mounts from a car.

That way you could easily adjust your weight bias forward for optimal steering grip, or adjust the seat back further for less-twitchy, strait line cruising at higher speeds.

got the seat or stool part done today. Or started anyway. Not going to be normal stool. More like a cage you sit on.

kind of like this. But seat won't be as tall. Low profile.

lower steering block done. Seems to be solid. Going to Change motor mounts to two solid bars and not like now . To manywelds to break pplus lookshack job to me.

Also layed tankup mock style to get ideas to move on. Gonna be sick. I can see it all in my head.

I would love to put the steering shaft tight thru the tank. But not that skilled in metal work.

redid lots today. Redid the motor mount to two single rails. Also redid the stool part. Much happier now. tanks in just laying on now. Now i can finish steering and mount tank. I may put some bends in the rear stool bars not sure yet..

Nice! Are you going to put wheelie bars on it? It just seems like it is going to be back heavy

No weelie bar as of today. Also worried about back heavy. I did not shorten the Fram on this one so fingers crossed the front wheels have enough weight. Gonna test ride it before I weld it all up. If front is light I will make my rear stool down bars in front of the axle. I think going over the back axle has a lot to do with it. My thinking anyway.

Got steering shaft done. Back bone done. Front of tank mounted done. Still need to mount rear of tank. Big empty spot up front but I do have a wing to fill some of that in. Next I will run some bars from front back to the stool. Side supports on the steering shaft. Nerf bars. The corporate my acdc theme items into the build. Not using the bars. I gonna make drag bike style.
