Been a long long time. But back in the shop for bar stool racer take two. The first pics you see was my summit racing bar stool racer. Looking to out do myself with an ACDC theme bar stool racer.

Starting with a $400 invader dirt track kart in running order. Just ordered host of part. The tank is a harley sportster tank. Waiting on my u-joint for steering shaft now. Then the fun can start. Gonna be low profile and I will fab my own bar stool. Kind of like the last pic but my own twist.

acdc has plenty of marketing items I cab corporate into the build.

Hello to all my old friends that are still around.

Started the steering column today. Comet karts sales sent me wrong size steering blocks that stopped me in my tracks. Good news is steering u-joint fit and my angle change should work.without messing with pitman arm and tie rods.

Next is mock up tank location and build stool and tank mounts. Can'tdo nothing until I get correct steering blocks .

Enjoy.

Nice to see you back in your natural habitat

Ya thanks man. Had duel hip replacement. I feel like new man. Had to take a few years off. I sold all my Odyssey but one. Sold my quads and relize I have no toy. Been itching to design a project. Acdc is my favorite band and they have plenty of marketing stuff I can incorporate into the build. shoukd be sick.

After looking of my project from my chair. A few beers latter I decide I want to move the engine to the center of the kart.

My question is the double bearing in on the right side. When I move the engine the sprocket will be on the left side with just one bearing.

Something tells me it shoukd be fine but I thought I would ask. It's not like it'sa shifter kart. Or I could move the bearing as well .

Who thinks the side mounted engine would look dumb? I think center under the stool would look better.

Posted pic of what I am talking about .
