Did you use the stock jackshaft with your TC? Would it work?
Thanks.

Finally ordered the brake shoes for my bike, now need to get a new bracket for the the brake lever, and new tire still.

matt has no backplate, he has his driver mounted, and his driven is held on by what i beleive is the engine mount plate, remember this is off the manco kart, i do know he uses a 9 tooth jackshaft sprocket tho

Yeah, I was wondering if the driven could be bolted on with the stock JS, or if Id have to get a new one made.

when i get home this weekend (maybe, whenever we get power back) ill measure the distances on both the stock JS and my mount plate and let you know.

EDIT: just by eye, i know youll need a longer driven jackshaft.

EDIT2: oh. i think the baja jackshaft is metric and the comet is standard ):

lol, figures...
Well, I can ask my brother to machine something out for me.

I still dont have those nylon cam button things for my driven, but I think I will be getting them soon...

Hopefully, I can get brake shoes, new tire, brake handle bracket, parts for the TC so I can have it running the next day...

Its no longer on the kart though, rather in a pile... in my room.

Yeah, not sure how long it sat...
Sooner or later I will give it a good cleaning.

The people I got it from said it would suck the belt down like that, and it did.

Yes, both on one belt, the 6147 is on green while the rest is white.

no, its asymmetrical. Belts are slanted on one side.

The belt is getting pulled into the driven because you don't have the buttons. Be sure to sand, clean, and lubricate that tc before using it! Blazkowiez (That how you spell it?) has some excellent video tutorials on this.
