Used and abused!

Slowly, I will make it look nicer.

Actually, I think it looks worse in the picture than it really is.
So it needs a good cleaning!

Only problem with videos is I use a school computer... and ofcourse they block just about everything that is actually usefull... fortunately not DIYgokart!(that would suck!)

Now, I have found a way to go to whatever I want, but it only last a few seconds.

Ill have to go to a different computer to watch it.

Spaeakin of TCs, my sister got me some of those cam button things, MADE IN USA TOO! However, she only got 1 pack, came with 3, I need 6.

I wonder if theyr plotting something cruel...

No, the driven requires 6 of them. they come in packs of 3(why?)

The TCs driven clutch axle shaft. Do you have it in the stock JS mount?
Do you have any pictures of it?

I just need...
2nd pack of cam button thingys.
a new brake lever.
axle shaft for the driven.
new tire.

I think thats about it.

the shaft is metric so you cant use the stock backplate.

i am using a jackshaft plate off a manco go kart.

well the dimension from the shaft to the JS is metric on the baja and standard on the comet so the stock plate will not work with the TC... youre better off getting a backplate for comet.

I will just need to get a 5/8 round stock, I can get a bearing to fit the id of the stock mount. I would just need to get my brother to cut a keyway and put some threads on it.

Where could i get a backplate from anyways? I did look around a lil bit but couldnt find any.

The buttons reduce friction between the two cams, and prevent the cams themselves from wearing out. The buttons also act as a spacer, moving the driven sheaves closer together (that is why your belt gets sucked down into the driven, although the spring could be bad too).

Yeas only 3 are required, the other three would be there if you made the cam face towards the engine, but the 30 series is asymmetrical so it only works with the cam outboard. The other three might also be used if you ran the system in reverse.

In short, you only need to use 3 buttons at any given point in time.
