No, 8-12" of water pipe works great(ex port is threaded). Or just gut the stock one.

yep! bring in the old muffler to be sue of thread size cause I cant remember. Just a cheap iron pipe.

Nice Man! How about noise level? I am thinking I am going to need a muffler b/c I ride mine in my backyard and my neighbors and wife would kill me if this thing is louder than my car!

Yeah I like the loud sound as well but the neighbors wouldn't agree. Especially since I am building a track in the backyard!!

Well you can put a straight pipe like mine and then buy a silencer and put on it.

What's a muffler? Who need's one? Real men run open header's.

Here are some examples. Go kart header was bought and dragster header was made out of SS pipe.

Lol I was just kidding. It's realy only a bit loud when you realy rap on the gas from a dead stop. When cruising around or at full throttle cruising it's not all that loud but you can definatly hear it no matter where you are in a huge field. I'd make a straight header and at the end weld on a plumbing coupler/threads so you can screw the muffler on and off.

I know you were just kidding! I like that idea. This track I am going to be building in the yard next week is going to have a bunch of sharp turns so there will be a ton of on the gas off the gas hard acceleration.
