Nice bumper & the hole on the front is nothing a little fibreglass won't fix; done properly, it will be stronger than original...

As for the header bolt hole, helicoil! IIRC it's 5/16 UNC (18p) which is a common size so, any decent mechanic or auto parts store should have one. As they can be quite pricey, have a look for a cheaper version

That bumper is a lot nicer than the other one. The other one has a giant crack going up the side, its going to be a little more work but will be worth it in the end. The side panels are also in fair condition. This work will get added to the "to do" list.

I was going to ask about using a helicoil.

Having performed major surgery on fibreglass bumpers in the past, I think it'll be easier to repair the other bumper, you'll end up with a better end result...

Not much has been going on with the kart lately, to busy at work and around the house.
I have a few questions. The square drive (pawl) had fallen off and several bearings came out. I put the assembly back together and put it back on the motor.
Is there a cover that I can buy to hold that assembly on?
Or
Does anyone know what size the screws are that go in the 4 holes?

Last but not least. What is the best way to start it?
With a drill?
Pull starter?

it's not an either/or situation, you need both...

Visit your local mower repair shop, they usually hang onto parts like that (both starter assembly & starter clutch)

Last but not least. What is the best way to start it?
With a drill?
Pull starter?

The best way is definitely with the pull starter

Ok, not sure if my mower shop guy is an inexperienced kid or just a db. But, he says he does not know what it is and doesn't have parts for it.

I'm not sure what motor it is to be perfectly honest. Is this a 5 or 6 hp Briggs?
Is there a universal assembly made for it?
Is there a site I could order a new pull start assembly?

Yes. That's why I think he was being a dbag, they don't have very good customer service from my understanding. I'm new to the neighborhood.

Found some tubing for the exhaust.
The exhaust on it now has 1" ID tubing, this is 1" OD tubing. I don't think it'll be a problem. I also have one U bend of 1-1/8" tubing I could step it up to towards the end of the system.
