Thanks guys. It’s been too cold here to fix it lately. But I’ll get it done and run some track passes next season for sure. Hoping for some high 9 to low 10 second 1/4 mile passes. The power to weight ratio is there for a low to mid 9 but I know it won’t get there without the turbo yet.

Small update.........

Got some more safety gear in !

And got the heavy duty rear shock mounts in and also got the billet roundhouse axle carrier mount done. All I need to do now is get the old arm the rest of the way out and go weld it all up then bolt all the new stuff in. And it shall be back up and running and driving again.

And the dumb dumb getting his tan on since it’s snowing ! :roflol:

It warmed up a little bit today so got the Swingarm out and the engine is hanging with straps. Worked out just like I hoped it would.

And got the arm cut up and got the new tubing cut to length. Will get it welded this week sometime and get it back in. This gets it rolling then I’ll take the whole thing back and get the rear engine mount done, some more bracing, and coil over mounts, parachute mounted, and a couple sleeves for the 5 point harnesses done.

Then we’re off to do some testing again at the track with intentions of running it all the way out like it should be ran.

Well I’ve been hunting down D.O.T. Tires for street driving when I get my title in and legally drive it on public roads. Finally found some ! The fronts are the only ones I can find that has a higher speed rating then 52mph. The rear wheels are ordered. The fronts might wait since mine are fine they are just heavy and won’t match my new rears.

Will get the Swingarm done in a few days hopefully also.

Got the Swingarm welded back up. Gotta get the brakes and sprocket on before bracing it and adding the parachute mounts and shock mounts. And I got the new rear engine mounts profiled and set in.

This gets it back rolling again finally after the crash. Also got my wheels for the rear from my buddy for a lot cheaper than new. And he thinks he has a super nice adjustable width thick axle also.

Well I had to order the front tires from France as I couldn’t find them anywhere else. So my pics from the grassy area (post #213) will be my final pics til next year when I get it done again by February for the local okc bike show.

I was trying as the stance and look is gonna change but st least I got it running and driving very safely and now all I am doing is upgrading to make it better.

All I’m waiting on now is the rear tires to be delivered. I got everything else to get it back in the road again. The new billet carrier looks awesome and the axle from my buddy is a super nice and thicker aftermarket axle so no more issues there I hope.

It won’t be long now !!!!

And the new dot tires for the front showed up already from France but I need more cash to order the front polished wheels tho still. But I can still drive it with the others.

Well if the new rear tires showed up I could have drove it already again after the mishap.

It’s officially back in one piece again !!! Can’t wait for the racing season and the tracks to open.

Were the other tires coming from a different distributor in France?

No a few states away. But I’m guessing due to the holidays and then being golf cart D.O.T. tires they are probably closed til who knows when. It’s a golf cart parts supplier.

Well it’s been back together after the 80mph crash but..............

The shipping company that sent me my new rear tires crushed them down so hard we can’t get them to seat a bead yet. Gotta heat them up and leave a tube in them til they’re back to normal. Drag racing I can’t use tubes cause the tire spins on the beads when it launches.

Back to not being a jack stand racing team member !!!!

Got the tires mounted with tubes til they get back to normal, got the reservoirs mounted better, and got the line loc installed also. A little welding and we’re off racing again.

Was gonna do the welding this week but found out my shocks are too long so I had to order new ones. So gotta wait again.

Got the battery cutoff switch done
Got the plenum finished and mounted properly
Got some wiring cleaned up
Moved the battery to the front. (No room in back anymore and hope it helps weight transfer )
