eBay $70 pair they are 14” eye to eye I think.
Overall engine area shots now that it’s finished minus a few welds............it’s got coil overs now also which seemed to have helped a lot.

Well a fresh heads up on the build. All welded and now I gotta figure out the traction issue. As in it doesn’t have any. Hahaha. Get some track passes finally and hopefully it will do decent on something prepped maybe.
For those that are following this through.............
The day has come. March 24th is its first official shake down passes at a drag strip. Hopefully it doesn’t rain ! Cause we all been waiting for this for awhile now.

Well definately going racing next weekend. Got my new snell approved helmet. And also building a new stepped header with a merge collector and 3” bomb muffler. Gotta get my data logging and o2 sensor stuff installed.

Well oopsey. Got my new helmet and low and behold my head is ABOVE the roll cage. Which isn’t gonna pass tech next Sunday. Found some aluminum racing seats that sit a lot lower. So hope they are here in time ! At this point my “budget” build has left the area for good.

Seat and cover is here ! Install seat and bleed brakes and we are off to the races. I also got my number plate and bracket made. Blue lexan came out super nice.

How's the head spacing now? It's been a minute since I read this but, have you thought about adding padding to the cage?
I’m 3” under the cage now. Don’t even come close to touching anymore.
And everything went great testing. It was spinning but still trapped over a 100+mph and it was spinning to the 60’ and I let out before the 1,000 ft. Mark. And was running full 1/4 mile runs.
I’m camping right now but when I get home I’ll update my YouTube videos and add them here.
