Got the other sensor ordered finally. Also got the last of my tuning stuff ordered as well. The aluminum to finish the turbo plenum will be here also. And the brakes were rubbing a little bit so I got some angled fittings to fix that issue now while I remember.

The last of my gauges which include boost and wideband o2 will be ordered when I get some more cash to afford it.

Enjoy some pics from the goodies............

And got the turbo plenum fabwork done up and tig welded ! Using it for a air filter box til I get the rest of the turbo stuff.

Going to another car show tomorrow with it. I can do some more efi tuning on the fly also so it shall be interesting.

Well I made it to the show ! Had a nice crowd around it almost all day so it was worth seeing everybody’s reactions.

Did some more tuning. The mid rpm miss is definately gone ! We did a sweet pass on the 12,000 rpm shift point in 3 full gears and it was straight moving. And it’s officially making more power cause it’s spinning halfway through the rpm ramp all the way to the shift. So it’s definately a handful. But it was pulling hard still so I stayed in it.

P.S. the 2 turbo Porsche’s said they didn’t want any. Hahaha. The other one is my dads.

I’m done for the year. I just rolled it a few times in mid air. It bent the axle and bent a few wheels. And broke the master cylinder and scratched the cage really bad.

So previous pics are it for the contest.................

It hooked up and was moving really clean. I shifted to 3rd and the front end came up on a wheelie and one tire hooked and it went hard left. I couldn’t do anything but hang on.

Not sure if building it longer than what it is now would have helped, maybe a wider axle could have helped. I have no idea, hope next year you'll fix it up and itll be better and more stable. The real question is though, how you doing?

I’m extremely sore. And my leg is Road Rashed a little bit. But considering how bad it was I’m doing really well. I’m glad I had the cage professionally done and tig welded. I owe my buddy my life. I also stayed planted in the seat even tho I didn’t have any kind of seat belt on.

And yes I already have planned on a billet banshee axle setup and also it needs the rear shocks put on to plant the power like it’s supposed to.

I’m still sore but I got the new safety harness in and mounted. And got some pics of the aftermath of broken parts ! Gonna get the new axle weld in carrier pieces ordered and when those come in I can pull the Swingarm out. I can hang the engine from the cage and drop the arm out below the engine area. So only a few bolts and it will come right out. I get to leave all the wiring and hoses and cables all attached also ! So that’s a big plus for me.

Wow!, that axle really took a hit. :smiley_omg:

With the amount of power your playin' with, maybe you should "beef up" a few things & go with a "bigger" stronger axle on the rebuild. :cheers2:

I hit a big green electrical box and shot straight up in the air 10 or more feet then it came straight down on the axle. It wasn’t broke til all 700lbs came down on it. But it is getting a stronger axle from a Yamaha banshee and a billet center section.

Wow! 700 lbs. that's a whole lot of kart.

With a hit like that, did the frame roll cage sustain any damage, other than "scratched really bad"?

Did ya ever check out an Ariel Nomad?
I came across it while doing research on the Atom.
Seems ideal for a super powerful "off road kart" :2guns:

No damage to anything other than rear axle area and a spindle.

And no I didn’t even know about the nomad. I’ll look into that for sure.

That ain't gonna buff out! How bad were your shorts? How many people did it take to pull the cushion out. :smiley_omg: I am glad that you are ok though.
