Does the winning guesser get a prize? Does the worst guesser get a booby prize?

Hmmm... booby prize. If there's a booby prize I'll guess 18 tons.

Haha I haven’t been on since I posted. Oops I forgot.

660 lbs total with 430 on the rear tires.

And the roll cage will be officially installed and finished next week sometime. Tubing showed up yesterday. We are tig welding it and mandrel bending it at my buddies shop.

Also the ultra sweet turbo intake plenum showed up. I’ll get pics Saturday when I go back to the house.

Got the replacement MAP sensor installed and low and behold the check engine light went off finally. And the led I used for the check engine light works. Cage will be installed this week and I also am gonna try and get the turbo plenum done also. It’s gonna be a long week but I figured I’d give a update.

And the roomy drove it and he fully approves ! He said everything worked great until he found about 6,000 rpms or so and then the rear tires didn’t work properly. Hahaha.

This thing is a death trap on wheels for sure! Probably a good call on using a Banshee axle for the rear end. I'll bet this thing will destroy a Demon in the quarter, way over hyped of a car lol. I do like that paddle shift setup for sure, looks easy enough to do up.

Can't wait to see the finished vehicle in the coming weeks!

Don’t worry lil grasshopper,

It’s getting a full cage and full 5 point harnesses and a parachute. The cage is coming quickly. Gotta get some more cash together to finish it properly. This winter I think I’ll tear it down and powder coat everything also after all the accessories and welding is done. I’m hoping for a high 10 second or low 11 second 1/4 mile like it sits without the turbo stuff. But I’d be happy with a 11 second anything really. A 10 would just make it that much better tho. We all think it’s there after making a few 1/4 to 3/4 throttle pulls. Still haven’t stuck it wide open yet. I need my laptop software to tune it first.

Got it all painted and now working on the turbo plenum. Also got the tail lights in and got some more wiring done.

The turbo plenum will have a air filter on the end for now til I get around to the turbo stuff this winter sometime. Or next year even. I just wanna drive it again !

I’ve been sick lately but it’s all back together with all the wiring and cage work done minus some more paint on the cage. Looks a lot better than before. Got the first drive today after all the cage and work was done.

Finally got some tuning done.

Did some full throttle pulls through a few gears and found 86mph gps’d real quick. Didn’t even feel like it either. Got a minor stumble at mid throttle but it’s coming around nicely.

The EFI tuning is worth the hard learning curve. It's like riding a bike and you keep the basics with you as long as you live. hopefully it can log and you can replay a log and tune off of the replay. What percentage of active tuning is it allowed to make? Meaning, how much can it change the A/F ratio while running, 3%, 5%,10%? Working to get that error correction reduced is the tuners goal. Basically you are giving the computer an easier job of having the A/F ratio in the "strike zone" rather than in the "ball park". Just keep the timing safe, but you know that.

That Shifter is awesome! I will duplicate that on a project of my own at least once. I was thinking it was going to be C02 based.

I don’t have the auto tune option yet so no o2 sensor yet. It reads off of the ait sensor. So it doesn’t adjust either without the auto tune piece which is extra. It stays the same always which is why it’s a little weird on tuning. I also found out my other map sensor is bad that reads atmospheric pressure also. It utilizes 2 map sensors. A regular map and a outside air map.

And you have to slot the cable at the shifter handle so it moves freely on the mounting spot or else the shifter sticks. That’s how I got it to work perfectly. Never had a issue since I did that.
