Where do you get your banjo brake lines from? Guessing they're 10mm banjos...

Build looks good! And that rear caliper looks familiar haha

I bought the banjo fittings to 3an line. And bought the 3an lines separate.

the hoses are allstar brand hoses from my local smileys racing.

This build definitely gets my vote at the moment!!!

Thanks. It means a lot to hear the positive on this website which is why I like it here. It’s not over til it’s over tho. I know from my previous 3 years of the build off.

Sounds like it’s going well

Seems to be. Got the charging system done a few minutes ago and it’s charging right at 14.5v which is in range. And all my brake stuff fits and is also installed. Just need to find somebody to come over and get a leg workout to bleed them now. And the larger sprocket is on so it won’t bog now. Gotta be careful tho not to launch on it to hard the axle will bend its a matter of how bad. But I already found my new option. Just gotta get some more money first. So we’re gonna cruise it around and go to some car shows til I get it installed. At least enjoy it and see what others think and not tell them the roll cage will be installed also. Hahaha. It’s also getting a parachute. As future plans calls for 135+mph at the drag strip in the 1/4 mile and a big fat hair dryer to double the power !

Do the front spindals have cotter pins for the castle nut?

That thing would be awesome to see at its own parking spot at a show.

Just saw the above post. That's wild. I stuck my head out of a sunroof doing over 100, it was memorable.
Those wheels are going to be spinning so fast they might need to get ballanced. Haha

Nice! Thanks! I think I have some extra stainless lines from my Baja bug build somewhere.

Yes all 4 corners of cotter pins are installed now. And yeah I might need to balance the wheels. But so far I don’t have to. It’s smooth and drives perfectly straight. But I haven’t been out of 2nd gear yet either. Hahaha

They said to shift it as close to the limiter as possible...........so 11,500 stock ! And no we didn’t get even close to that in the video. Hahaha

So been chasing some minor sensor issues and got the check engine light wired finally. Also ordered a universal turbo plenum for the throttle bodies. And should have the tuner and the cage done in the next few weeks hopefully.

I knew it was running a little lean but at the track it was worse and not running right. We came back home and it blows the tires off so go figure. So far so good just working out the typical new build bugs.

I have officially weighed it as it sits. Any guesses as what it weighs ???
