Figured out the upper hose finally thanks to NAPA for the adapter. It works perfectly.

And I got the chain on and the rear end done minus mounting the brake caliper. The axle slides perfectly also and tightens the chain as it’s supposed to !

Only thing left to order now is brakes. 😂 might need those to work this time. A few more weeks looks like will be test driving finally hopefully. I won’t be able to stick my foot in it due to not having a tuner yet but it should cruise around a little bit ok to see how it drives.

Got the rear caliper brackets made and welded. And I got one more thing to weld and ran out of welding gas.........go figure. Gonna go weld it somewhere else. Don’t wanna pay $80 for a bottle of gas to finish the battery mount.

Quite the oil leak. ;)

Nice and straight lines too. Video please. :)

It’s hard holding a video and driving and paddle shifting at the same time. I have one but somebody is coming over to video while I’m driving it tonight. So I’ll get a better one later today. Hopefully he shows up when it’s half way daylight still.

And the oil leak was from previous owners of the drive. Wasn’t us.

Radiator hose fits perfectly ! And after about 30 minutes it didn’t go above 175* so I’m pretty sure we’re good to go ! And I pulled the plugs they aren’t terrible but it is a little lean. But it’s tunable with the individual pipes and the programmer for the laptop. So no extreme hits or high rpms til I can afford the power commander 5.

Piece of crap phone keep s shutting off when I go to upload pics.

So this is gonna be short and sweet this time. Rear brakes and battery tray done.

---------- Post added at 12:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:15 AM ----------

It’s gonna be a handful in the upper rpm range when it hits it hits hard ! Gotta change the gearing tho. Going way up on the rear sprocket. To get it in the rpm ranges it likes quicker.

I’m gonna go ahead and finish it like it sits. But after my final video I’m cutting the Swingarm up and putting a billet axle setup from a banshee on the back. After driving it I don’t think this axle is gonna hold the power with a good tire on it !!!! I made the Swingarm where I can do it quite easily by cutting it behind the motor mount and welding a aftermarket banshee Swingarm cut down on it and just bracing it.

Hope you get the general idea. I did it quick to show how I’m gonnna cut it.

Red = cuts
Blue = braces on outside. Inside two lines are banshee Swingarm not using the pivot on front
Black = axle and tires roughly

Some of the brakes came in today. Only waiting on a few hoses and the banjo fittings to come in now. Should be tomorrow or Friday.

New sprocket is here so no more hogging out of the hole til I get my new axle mounted and bought. Hope I can make this one last for a month or so.

And the voltage regulator will be here tomorrow so the battery will charge by itself finally.

Trying really hard to make the cars and coffee in okc Saturday morning. It looks like I’m gonna make it at this point in time. And after this weekend everything will work properly to qualify for voting at the end of the year also ! So look forward to a really good video of the finale. At least til I get the cage and tuner. Then we can really play hard at the track.

Where do you get your banjo brake lines from? Guessing they're 10mm banjos...

Build looks good! And that rear caliper looks familiar haha
