yea, but the effort and finding the rebuild kit wasn't worth it for me. I paid a guy 40 bucks to rebuild my first one. Then I found a new one for rougly the same price. I guarantee his float has a hole in it.

It's your carburetor, I'm 100 percent sure. Your engine is flooding. That's why it dies. I'm on my third carb. You can find a carb new for about 40 bucks. Buy it. You will think you have a new kart. Read some of my old posts. I have two tecumseh engines. I'm no expert... but I know...

Yesterday I decided to go through thick bush for the first time. The serf dog 3205 bogged out. Everything is original down to the 6.5 hp Tecumseh. The problem is it won't restart. It seems as if the cllutch is trying to engage when I pull the cord. It also is a little hard to push. Any ideas...

Is there a how to guide on the freight conversions. I can follow directions fairly well. Let's see I've hooked up a nitrous kit,clutch headers etc on my ta from directions. I once took out a gallbladder after reading a book but that's another story.

i own two tecumseh engines, one is a yerf dog kart. Both of my engines seemed to run almost perfect after having the carb rebuilt. I'm willing to bet that your carb is 99 percent of the problem. I've done tons of reading about the engines. I have a 5.0 and 6.5

Thsi is coming out of my Tecumseh 6.5 hp motor at the front on my Yerf Dog 3203. Is it the oil sensor or a place for lights. If it's the oil sensor, is it already disabled. My kart stalls on rough terrain.

I've been to autozone and lowes 3 times. IT'S BETWEEN A 1-1/2 AND 1-1/4. It's not a 1 3/8 or 1-5/8. Does anyone know. I'm running out of cash.

there is a nut at the bottom of the bowl that holds the bowl on. It's only cutting out on rough terrain.

It's a pretty basic kart, which is why I didn't buy the ASC kart. The only wire is ground for key. The carb was recently rebuilt by a small engine repair place. I"m assuming the float was designed for rough terrain because the kart has shocks.

Runs fine with no load and on even pavement. Only stalls if wot on bumpy terrain. If I let off the gas. It doesn't cut off.

So, just to clarify, The last pic is the kid's go kart. The clutch is engaging properly, It runs fine on smooth terrain but it stalls and I have to pat the gas on bumpy terrain. I keep it full of gas and actually a little overfull on oil. ( I've heard of an oil sensor, but not sure where it...
