This was the reason I mounted it up higher. I used washers on both sides, I have used it about five times, works pretty good, only problem I had, was once the wire got tangled up, I think it was my fault, not enough tension on the wire when rewinding it, but other than that I like it.

It looks like its just manly sand and stuff with silica in it that causes all the problems, from Google searching it seams that glass beads are non toxic, non hazardous, chemically inert and Non flammable, should be safe with just a dust mask and face shield, should be LOL. That is odd...

From what I have read you need a forced air full face helmet and air filter system, and then what about dust in your clothes and on everything around you, and then other people, pets and so on, sand is just to dangerous. Here is the Wikipedia page on Abrasive blasting
