    Finally some progress

very true, when you have a quarter midget with no roll cage and a stretched frame, all the weight is in the back. My *** sits fairly close to the tires, so the thing pushes like crazy in turns, on concrete, tar, dirt, grass, anything. but when it does turn ok, the rear breaks loose...fun for...

Really cool looking kart for sale

if you get it and mod those engines a little (open pipe, free flowing intake, bigger carb, maybe a cam) i bet you could bake the tires on dry asphalt >:) except it cost double the amount to mod them (for obvious reasons)

    My gocart plans

Ok, this is what I plan on doing for my yard kart (AKA money source :D ) It is some kind of kid racing kart, not a Pep-Boys kart but I'm guessing the frame cost a few hundred. My dad stretched it so taller folk can use the kart. In it I'll be putting a Briggs &Stratton 5 HP flathead (similar to...

New here...got my first mini bike! w/ pics!

Porting is oly done on a two stroke, but I guess thats what polishing is. I belive porting would be either cleaning out the exhaust/intake ports or making them bigger. I'm not much of a 2 stroke guy. Can't help you with a cold air intake. I think I might do a straight pipe on my Briggs 5 HP...

New here...got my first mini bike! w/ pics!

Not sure if you did already but take the top end off the motor and scrape all the crap out of it, off the piston out of the cylinder, off the valves, etc. with a wire brush. Get a new plug. Remove the head gasket.

    What's it worth???

Here's my future chopper, it's getting worked on all year. I'm going to get the engine work done this summer, then weld up some mounts. I'll put the engine and clutch in, and put a big sprocket on the rear rim. This will have a centifugal clutch. Then, when it's all done, I'll sell it in the...

    Honda Clone, like to paint

I changed my mind. Already. What I think I'm gunna do is just take off the valve cover and paint it, because it will look better. My Briggs, however, I think I'll do it all flat black.

    Honda Clone, like to paint

I have a Honda GX160 blue clone, just to f*** around with. It won't fit in my kart but I'm saving it for a future project. What I want to do, to make it look cool, is paint it, that is the cylinder, valve cover, crankcase, and gas tank. I was thinking the cylinder, crankcase, and gas tank black...
