Here's my future chopper, it's getting worked on all year.
I'm going to get the engine work done this summer, then weld up some mounts. I'll put the engine and clutch in, and put a big sprocket on the rear rim. This will have a centifugal clutch. Then, when it's all done, I'll sell it in the heat of summer when the demand for these bikes is high
Here are the specs:
Shwinn Sting-Ray chopper bike (I think a 2005)
Tecumesh 3.5 HP 139cc 2 stroke engine
Custom chopper exhaust
Cent. clutch
flat black frame/fender/handle bars
chrome forks
ape hanger handlebars
twist grip throttle
engine cleaned, painted
no electric start
key for added security
stock seat, tires, forks
removed crank, added footpegs in their place
things i cant decide on
disk brake (from minibike) or stock
foot pedal for brake or lever
So how much do you think this bike would be worth?
P.S. I live in CT and plan on selling about a year from now, right when school gets out
