Well...it came...it was a Predator 420 and it was brand new. Going to break it out of the box tomorrow. Torque 40 needed? Will my 30 work? What stage 1 mods should I do right out of the gate?

I will be pretty pumped if a 420 shows up for 170 total. I'm in disbelief until I see it.

I got the orange beast to the point where I am mounting the motor to look at what I am up against. I lined everything up and the chain is rubbing against the bottom rib of the torque converter mounting plate. Should I grind it down or can I mount the pulley in a different angle?

This is the seat that came off the heavy old streaker. I am working on. Any good options I should consider? This one weighs about 15 lbs and trying to cut weight. I know there has to be better options for a one seater that won't break the bank and be lighter.

Where??? eBay? Where? On the pwerland website, they have the 390 but not the 420.

I don't know anything about the Powerland brand. Is it reliable like the Predator? Can I buy a bigger mounting plate for it or is that something that needs to be fabricated?

What about the 8hp? Does that require a 1" converter? I ordered a 1" TC 30 by mistake and haven't sent it back yet.

Yeah...I'm confused but going to figure this out I removed the gov and oil sensor completely. Even the last washer that everyone forgets. I moved(rotated) the crank out of the way to pull the gov out. Cam came out with the cover. When I put it back, I lined up the dots. I pushed both lifter...

Ok so I removed cam and advanced piston one revolution. Now the problem has reversed itself. I now don't have enough compression. Thoughts?

The cam came out when I took the side cover off. What about oil in the cylinder? I've heard that this can cause this as well. How do I check compression release?
