Torque converter placement

I got the orange beast to the point where I am mounting the motor to look at what I am up against. I lined everything up and the chain is rubbing against the bottom rib of the torque converter mounting plate. Should I grind it down or can I mount the pulley in a different angle?

I believe you're missing a spacer.

Loosen the back plate mounting bolts on the engine & see if the TC drops a little; it doesn't need much...
