    Putting on wheels, big problem

If you want a chance at actually completing the project, you will be using a rigid rear suspension. This is where there is no shock or spring in the back, thus it is rigid. You will need a rear axel to see how wide to make your frame. Once you have that, then you can start welding. I am...

    engine size

If that engine is off a trike, then it should fetch you about 15-20 hp. If is has a kick start and gears, then i would reccomend makeing a real bike out of it. You could even get it lisenced and ride it around town.

    Gearing for a Chainsaw engine

So if i have 8,000 rpm on the engine, and i put a 10 tooth on the engie. Then i put a 20 tooth on the jackshaft, and have the clutch on the other side of the jackshaft, i should be ok. What about gearing for the rear wheel? Would i then use regurlar gokart gearing. Like a 13 on the clutch, and...

So a 10 tooth on the Engine, 20 tooth on the jackshaft, then a clutch with a 10 tooth on it, and a sprocket with a 40 tooth on the axel? Will that get me correct gearing ratios? Could you also explain the gearing concept? Like how to calculate what sprocket is needed in what place. Just so that...

    Chainsaw engine for go kart?

I dont know. If you cheap like me, you can try using what you get for free, or what you already have. Or if you dont want to spend much, you can go to a small engine shop and get an edger or a tiller ( i think that tillers have more power, but im not sure) for a reasonable price. These can...

    Off Road Go Kart

You can get Honda Odyssey's for about 500-1000 depending on condition and how nice the seller is. Many of the parts on it are good, and you could do some modifying and make it exponentially better.
