When shifting on a shifter kart with a dirt bike YZ 125 engine, Will the gear lever move up and down? Or do I just pull it down, it goes into next gear, then lever goes back to original spot? I am trying to figure out how much room I will need the lever to move.

Those burris mounts wont work. I need them flat and need it to wrap around the bar instead of lay on top of it.
