Yeah, it's a balance between too little and too few rules. We don't want to be too strict about "vintage" knowing these things aren't exactly growing on trees. It's a race, so I don't want to restrict HP/CC too much, but no restrictions may ultimately affect where we can have it/how much it will...

What's a reasonable CC or HP to set the limit at? It seems like the VKA's limit for dual engine karts is 270cc, but that seems a little low. One B&S 5hp engine is 206 or so, so we're not talking a lot of power at a 270 max... but I don't want to allow for crazy, dangerous speeds for amateurs...

Based on those photos, I don't think it's a Rupp, but each of those is very different. How many designs did Rupp use? The sprocket is part of the brake drum if that provides any clues. Both rear wheels have drum brakes, but only one has a sprocket. Again, it could be an aftermarket...

For now the only other pic I have is it sitting in front of my '59 this Saturday. It mostly fit in the trunk! :)

I need to get a better pic of the mounts. I can't tell if the 2nd one was added, or just poorly repaired. Someone clearly augered out the holes for a different bolt pattern and there are no provisions on the axle for a 2nd chain, but a lot could have changed over the last 40-50 years!

That's just a rubber car mat glued to the floor. It will be tossed as soon as I can peel it off. The fuzzy dice are already gone.
