Its actually for sale locally on CL. I'm actually looking for a new/old ride but this little guy would be gone the 1st michigan pot hole it fell into. It would look cool with some 14" spinners and low profile tires :lolgoku:

broaching - linear/rotary who has the tools ?

I will get the chance to do linear broaching soon on my project and was wondering who on site has done it. It looks very simple to cut the keyway inside of a hole, far easier than I had thought it would be. I have a few 3/4" tools here and/or on there way now.

can you have it all with electric

how far can electric vehicles go right now. As a comparison lets take my wifes stock raptor 350 atv (6 speed-20HP/dry weight 375lbs) which is just a mild sport atv, top speed of 50-55mph or so with a run time of approximately 4.5 hours of mid to 3/4 throttle on a full tank of fuel, what would...

    6.5HP engine

6.5-HP engine with electric start $194.99. I got a starter add-on kit from them years ago for our 11HP generator and it was a pain to install but buying a ready to go engine with E-start might be nice on the manco gokart up north.

    john deere 400 repower

So I got a john deere 400 with a blown kohler engine and after looking at the cost to repair it even with used parts it was more expensive than buying a HF 22HP engine. I have the new engine plate made, its crude but then so am I, I need to drill the holes to bolt the engine to it and finish...

    just an driveline idea

So has anyone tried using a tractor vari-drive belt system along with a torque converter or a centrifugal belt clutch. The vari-drives on tractors allow a cheap tractor to have 5-6-7-8 "gears" for very cheap but it is in reality just a variable drive system.

and bolts and screws and most every other tiny little thing in my garage. It measures 48" wide by 29" tall by 40" deep overall, I have some of those cheap HF plastic bins in it just to see if they fit. It is actually two pieces with 4 drawers each and they both have 2" deep top drawers and the...

    1 man 6x6

So it was decided in the poll from the users on this site that the project for me would be a "1 man 6x6" I have been thinking about it a little and I know that I want it 49"s wide MAX so I can run it on the ORV trails and no longer than 7'. I will use a transaxle from a garden...

    Pick a project (poll)

So I was wondering which project to start. here are the choices. 1). a small one man 6 wheeler 2). a gokart that is similar to the goped "trail ripper" 3). a 6 wheeled 4wd tractor (I'm leaning towards this one myself) 4). a 250cc polaris powered minibike using mostly CT70 parts on a custom...
