We got another guess on what it is! I was on the North Texas Karters Facebook page, and someone mentioned that it looks like a late 1980s Coyote Bullet. Looking it up, I see some similarities but I'm not totally sure. Any thoughts?

Measure the bolt hole pattern. Measure the distance between two opposite bolt holes, that's the bolt hole pattern. Most light grade yard kart stuff is 2 13/16" or so.

Yep valve grinding compound would work even better! Personally I’d keep toothpaste far away from my engines.

I didn't even change the governor arm shaft. I just popped out the governor gear and it's shaft, then carefully clocked the governor arm so it wouldn't interfere with anything internal, and it works like a dream! Do note though that this is on a 212. At any rate, as long as you make sure to...

Haha yeah skip tooth sprockets aren’t uncommon on race karts, WMS makes some under the Tuck and Run product line. I might attempt some sneaky stuff like that on the Green Monster but I’ll have to be careful not to destroy sprockets...... cuz ahhh the engines probably gonna be a 15 HP 10K RPM...

Chances are the carburetor is the CARB/EPA California version, those ones are built to run lean due to emissions so they don't idle well. I know, I have one of the 212 CARB ones. That could be as simple as getting a new 420 carburetor to put on.

I've seen a clip of an LS V8 yard kart, and they had simply stuck a regular centrifugal clutch on the end of the crankshaft. It's probably the same on that one.

That’s basically the bigger version of my PC case, it looks almost exactly the same! You get a Core i7 to start out with though, lucky!
