I'd swap out that k&n filter for an oiled uni filter, those k&n filters are garbage.

I dropped the parts off for machining the other day hopefully he will be able to get this done soon! I will also be getting a pretty fancy TIG welder next week so I will have fancy looking welds!

The torque converter may not sit perfectly flush with the engine and thats ok. If its really bothering you, just shim the converter out a 1/4 inch. Pictures would be helpful.
