Oh, just to clarify about the 212cc clones... They are typically sold here in Canada as their main brand RATO. They are rebranded and sold as predator brand in the US. RATO motors are getting pretty difficult to get and the US Predators are almost impossible now.. If you're able to get one...

I think for a 1" shaft it is 17t for the bigger one, 14t is typical.

6:1 is a good start... With a big block youll have some torque... it should be fine.... probably could go 5:1 and be fine.

So my buddy says to me that he thinks there is a leak on the carb or somewhere on the motor... He smells gas... I take a look at it... and sure enough there is some seepage along the join where I had epoxied the area.... We removed gas and the tank, and I take a better look at what the issue...

That motor has a 1" shaft(?) and that clutch might be pricey in your area.... Theyre expensive here... So im going to guess itll much more overyonder in your country...

Albeit I'm not really surprised nowadays, but I didn't know ford even had CVT transmission in there cars.. I guess they're the remnants of the past that people are willing to now fix.. Nissan with their horror storys of their CVT transmissions, kinda brings to mind...

It's a setback... It can be made to work... The sprocket can be used to fit a new one for the bolt pattern... Find a weld on sprocket of the tooth count you want... Align and measure for concentricity to the hub. Clamp and drill new holes... All else fails.. good to go..

Regular oil.... just a few drops at the snap ring.. itll seep into the bushing...
