    Already did a crapload of work to make it work for my application, wall clearances, freeze plugs, some oil pump/gallery mods. Believe me, if I had a viable alternative I would've taken it. If it comes back worse than before, or shoddily done to the point that I have to replace it, it's game on.

Proceeds to call us cheap for trying to get "free work" done we previously paid for. Claims to have built "many motors with MLS gaskets with the sander"...

    The older 2HP's are great. I've had one for a couple years. Still works great. I've tripped the breaker a few times and had the motor pouring out smoke... but it keeps on going! probably switched motors on the newer models. Shame.

    Yes, the welds were wire wheeled before the pictures. However, there are also pictures before any wire wheeling. I could practically brush that "excessive spatter" off lol. Dude, FCAW smokes a ton. That's an aspect you'll have to live with regardless of brand lol.

    This was the HF 140a maxxed out lol, welding 1/2" and 1/4" mild steel together. Way over it's rated capacity... but still welds decent.

    I beg to differ. I've run Lincoln and HF rods side by side, stop and start welds. The only difference I can visually see is the flux coating after welding. They run great... Now, if you've failed to properly dry them, I can see that happening. Their flux core wire works fine if you know what...

    And I just HAD to hone and perfect the piston/wall clearance before this, as well as swap the core plugs. Now I'm betting they're going to have to redeck it... and I already coated my piston crown... positive deck height + boost = problems. They better own up to this sh!t.
