    Throttle cable

I haven't buttoned anything up right now, fitting it. Yeah I have the pedal stop at full throttle. I can adjust the controller to the max voltage so it'll know WOT. Cool. I'll make sure the tube is solid so I doesn't move around. Cheers.

    Throttle cable

@Hellion its a egokart build. Here's a few more photos for you. Looking at it, I should have routed the cable under the 2nd tube. It's only a temp solution to hold the throttle down. 😀

    Throttle cable

Right now I have this double sided taped down. The black hose is not mounted to anything. Should I use something to keep it in place? On the next blue tube I thought a simple band clamp or zip tie just to hold it. Originally the area that has gray paint had a tab for the cable. That ran to a...

    Pb6 box to 3 wire?

Does any one know a replacement for a pb6 for a 3 wire? 5v, gnd and signal. This is what I have working however I'd like to use a pb6 style to use the original pedal for the kart. Topkart sells a 2 wire however that wouldn't work.

    any tips for replacing tires?

Yeah I was a bit shocked. I called a ATV shop as well they would do it IF I bought tires from them and none in stock for gokarts. So i passed.

    any tips for replacing tires?

While taking the old tires off the first one I took out the grinder to cut that ish open! The bead wasn't moving but I think the HF tool for me was junk. The new bead breaker made it easy and took moments.

    any tips for replacing tires?

    any tips for replacing tires?

for deep wheels the seat on the rim isn't long enough and need to come up with fun ideas to make it work, maybe if they included more plastic fillers it would have been better. the rears were just had to deal with, fronts no problem. getting new tires on the rear isn't going to easy, going to...

    any tips for replacing tires?

Managed to get the fronts done, new valve and bearings. On the spindle, is there a torque spec to follow? Reading finger tight for the cotter pin to go on.

Controller and master cylinder mounted 🍻

yeah totally agree. Cleaning the metal is also important too! I hit it with a flap wheel but probably leaving stuff on the metal doesn't help. I just finished up moving the battery from the middle (under the wheel) to the left (opposite side of the motor), kiddo didn't like the battery there...

Controller and master cylinder mounted 🍻

Not much of a back story... Controller and MC mounted, I smacked the tab with a 10lb dead blow hammer a few times. It will hold fine. Learning process.

Well my kart is running, for now.

The chassis is a TopKart Surf, I put in a Surron power plant (motor, controller, wiring harness, and battery). I believe the controller is 6kW and there is no programming available at this time, I don't think anyone has reserved-engineered it yet. I am running a bypassed battery which allows...

    Brake line...

https://lukyshardware.com/ It is a cool shop, I try to go there first before Home Depot or Ace. However, on my Dodge, I had some axle parts and they didn't have what I needed like an odd castle nut but an awesome store to have around still.
