Had time and mounted the controller and the extra tab I needed for the master cylinder.

Welds will hold but ugly looking for sure 😄

I am essentially a stranger who just wandered in off the street and don't know what this is. It's just a random post floating in "Electric Projects" and one without any replies (it's because it is a post without a back story). You'd think this was part of a bigger project but I can't search your posts without a:

Oops! We ran into some problems.

Those ARE ugly welds and may not hold up at all. ;) You really can see quality (or lack thereof) in a weld. That's how you tell.

In the future, make one thread and keep replying to it.

Not much of a back story... Controller and MC mounted,

I smacked the tab with a 10lb dead blow hammer a few times. It will hold fine. Learning process.

10 pounds of crap welds=1 pound good weld, l always say. You'll get it! Practice, practice. I weld like that all the time!

Ya might wanna get some scrap and work on that some, however.
just keep working on the project, and have fun!

yeah totally agree. Cleaning the metal is also important too! I hit it with a flap wheel but probably leaving stuff on the metal doesn't help.

I just finished up moving the battery from the middle (under the wheel) to the left (opposite side of the motor), kiddo didn't like the battery there. These welds are a bit better.
