Hey ES, I love them Monte Carlos...too :cheers2: My first car was a 1978 Monte Carlo (Mint Green w/White Vinyl rear 1/2 top) ...w/ a 305 cu in engine ...switched out to a 350, outta 1975 Monte Carlo My second car was a 1973 Monte Carlo (White) ...w/ a 350 in it ...& had a "smog pump" on it...

The red hood "plug" got (2) layers of CSM...too ;) Another angle The FG didn't contour to these "fine lines" too well ...bit, that's actually OK/better/just fine:wai: It still seems to have maintained the "main" body lines quite well :sifone:

Over the weekend, I gave the Muscle car hood plug a coat of acrylic paint (black) ...& then, a couple of hours later, a coat of the Polyurethane (clear) ;) During the "after drying" inspection, I noticed some crazy crackin' (or crazin') ...in the Polyurethane (clear) coat :huh: After some...

Well...shyt! I would "test" the throttle first ...for verification ...& just ta be sure ;) Throttle test: Red wire 5V (+) provides "power" to the throttle Black wire neg (-) "ground" to complete the circuit Green wire (signal) sends a "signal" back to the controller The Green wire should...

HeyT, Yup, there's a bit of a "learnin' curve" to this stuff ...but, once ya "get 'er done" your "golden" :cheers2: "the blue & yellow wires are to the key switch"...Good! So/yes, the "Power Lock" plug should be connected to the blue & yellow wires ...& since the "Power Lock" circuit "works"...

Hey T, IIRC the blue & yellow wires are for the key switch First/maybe try a test: :thumbsup: With the throttle completely disconnected from...everything ...connect the positive of a 12V battery to the yellow wire ...& then, use a 12V test light (or mm) to see "if" the blue wire has/shows...
