can you find me a pic of what you're taking about ? the filter thing that I have from the factory is a big rectagle that takes screws... I can't picture what you're talking about...

I'll stick to Craftsman myself. They're just as good as the Snap On stuff since they have the same lifetime warranty. Snap on is far better as far as quality goes, but when something cheaper can keep being replaced time and time again for free, what's the point in spending more ?

where can I find a "UNI foam filter" for my Briggs ? All the ones on ebay seem to be for the Animal engine or a Honda...

I do know what you mean, but what's the worst that could happen really ? the invisible dirt would turn to invisible ash and exit through the exhaust on its merry little invisible way.

It was an older clutch... no idea who made it. that would be nice though. if I'm gonna be just on the street with that kart, do I really need an air filter ? wouldn't it run better without it ?
