25mm = .98425" 1/64 = .0156" and 1" - .98425" = .01575" , so you shouldn't have a problem with that fitting at all. General fabrication tolerances are usually more than that.

oh okay, yeah I've taken all that apart before. how do they crank the "raptor" motors or whatever the other racing motors are like on ebay or whatever without the pull start assembly ? and do yoou think that may also be the source of the squeeling that I mentioned above ?

what would I need to do about that ? could that be causing a squeeling noise also when I get going fast and I press the gas harder ? can I oil it ?

okay cool, thanks again. how do I fix my pull start so it'll quit messing up ? the other day, I was pulling it and the rope broke, so I took it all apart and finally got the coil winded back up and put everything back in place with a new rope... it worked fine several times after that, but now...

okay cool.... I wouldn't have expected that. how much should I use ?

one last thing.... I got my UNIfilter in the mail yesterday and I didn't order the oil. can I run up to the auto parts store and buy the K & N oil to use on this filter or is that something different ?

gotcha... I guess I'm all out of questions for the moment. By the way, I ordered one of the UNIfilters that was mentioned in another thread. it's suppose to arrive the beginning of next week or sooner... I made my own adapter for it from part of a pellet can... if it don't work, then I'll get...

and about how much money would is cost to turn a Briggs into a "purple plate WKA flathead on meth" compared to what a Honda Clone would cost ? also, how fast do you guys think a 49cc 2 stroke would push an average kart ?

I just noticed that I wrote "stoke" instead of "stroke" in my last post... that's just pure laziness. what would be a good cc in a 2 stroke to put on a kart ? something that'll get to around 50 mph maybe...

why don't you buy a cheap 4x4 four wheeler that doesn't run and use parts from that ? that would probably make it a lot less difficult to figure out I would think...

I think I'm gonna have to make a trip to Harbor Freight soon. Sounds to me like a clone is the way to go. Those chainsaw videos are crazy!!! Back to my question though... will a 2 stoke motor mount up the same on a go kart as a 4 stoke does or would certain things need to be changed around ?

since when is blueberry pie better ? you just haven't found the right dog apparently... anyhow, are the 2 strokes already set up like a 4 stroke ? like will they mount right up to a kart the same way ? aren't they much more expensive though ? I know they're simpler and all that, but what about...

I have a Briggs 5hp that does really well with minor modifications. If I were to build another kart with a Honda Clone, what should I expect. I also wanna see people post what motors they have and what they've done to them and how they perform just so I can compare all of the different options...
