Landuse is correct. It is most likely your low oil sensor. These utility engines aren't designed for use in vehicles so any tipping or jarring will affect them to some degree. Easy fix is to just cut the sensor wire to the engine shutoff ground. Don't bother with cracking the case to remove...

Put a jackshaft between the engine and the wheel. It will allow you to adjust sprocket ratios and move the sprockets side to side for alignment. You can use pillow bearings or use a clutch jackshaft assembly that has a plate with two bearings already mounted on it.

It's a v-twin with two plugs. So both plugs fire at the same time? That interesting. Is it one revolution per spark?

Can you use a #41 chain on a 420 sprocket? I've already bought 10 feet of #41 chain along with a #41 clutch for my 670cc project. Most wheel sprockets are 420 so it would be great to be able to use them.
