Before you seek more than 5500 rpm's I'd highly suggest billet rod. And flywheel. 36# valve springs are overkill. 18# should get you plenty of rpm's. Granted the spring pockets may require cutting to prevent coil bind. Anytime your replacing with heavier springs you will want to get stronger...
The stock predator engine with that tav should hit 50 with the governor removed maybe without it. I purchased a predator hemi and broke it in. It surprised me with the torque it had. Very worth the money
****, have it sleeved,its easy to do but if you cant come up with one i have a coolbore (aluminum bore- no sleeve) block that i was going to run in the opens this year opened up in the intake and its bore size on (my gauge says) its 2.5930
I thought the bronze bushing on most clutches were oil impregnated.....other than that synthetic will work just as well as regular oil......the 4 hour thing is good insurance as stated above
