clutch bushing lube

did a search and didnt find what i was looking for.
i read somewhere NOT to use synthetic motor oil to lube the clutch bushing. is this true?
if so why not?

For a centrifugal clutch, all you need is one or two drops of normal engine oil on the bushing. Not more than that. I haven't heard of the synthetic story. I am sure you can use anything. It is also advisable to do it every 4 hours of driving time (according to the manuals)

I thought the bronze bushing on most clutches were oil impregnated.....other than that synthetic will work just as well as regular oil......the 4 hour thing is good insurance as stated above
