I'd like to be able to get the kart to 15 MPH, I live in a residential area and I'm not going to be going 30 mph on a sidewalk. I'm going to be using a snowblower engine with a clutch installed. It doesn't have different gears (like first, second, third gears). I'm not sure what kind of clutch...

Pretty sure it's an internal. Depending on how fast the kart I'm working on goes after it is tested I may have to adjust it, and I'm not going to be using a transmission with different gears.

Just wondering, how do you set the governor of a small engine? Isn't there a screw or something that you can adjust? Oh, and if you have pictures, please post them.

Kart Yeah, none of my plans yet have been finalized, so that's something to take into account for final plans. I had an old design that was too large and then with this new one it got smaller, so maybe I need to do something in the middle. I'm going to get a snowblower engine from my dad...

Seat The part circled in the picture is called a "seat cushion", and I'd probably have one where your back would be, too. I'm thinking of using an old plastic chair with a cushion on it, or an old car seat.

I understand... I don't think I'd need one for this project anyway. What about the Stitch Welding Torch (98753-1VGA) for $39.99? Does that just plug in to a normal outlet? It has a 100% duty cycle.
