Does anyone know of any build logs or other information on building a kart with a motorcycle engine? I was considering buying a 250 ninja motor and putting it on my old coyote race frame. any help is greatly appreciated.
I have an 8th Briggs that has some kind of Pulley system on the shaft. The pulley has a housing with an oil fill plug. The motor was pulled off a cement mixer. Anyone know how to remove this, from some angles it looks like it may be one piece with the crank case.
Anyone have info on enginetics hydraulic disks brakes. the kart was sitting for years before I bought it. First day riding the kart stopped on a dime, now not so much. Pedal has far more travel now so i'm assuming loss of pressure. also after pressing brakes im seeing spots on the floor which...
I was thinking blocking the intake with my hand might do the trick too, is that what would normally be done at the track? As far as power goes what are you thinking 3 or 5? and if you could point me in the direction of some info on properly cleaning and tuning the carb It would really help me out.
starts on a little starter spray, once it starts it seems to run pretty well. I think on this motor the choke is supposed to be on this round part of the carb. I don't see any sign of a choke elsewhere
