    I have an 8th Briggs that has some kind of Pulley system on the shaft.The pulley has a housing with an oil fill plug.The motor was pulled off a cement mixer. Anyone know how to remove this, from some angles it looks like it may be one piece with the crank case.

    Anyone have info on enginetics hydraulic disks brakes. the kart was sitting for years before I bought it. First day riding the kart stopped on a dime, now not so much.     I used the sticky on identifying briggs motors and the number are not where they should be.

    I was thinking blocking the intake with my hand might do the trick too, is that what would normally be done at the track? As far as power goes what are you thinking 3 or 5? and if you could point me in the direction of some info on properly cleaning and tuning the carb It would really help me out.

    starts on a little starter spray, once it starts it seems to run pretty well. I think on this motor the choke is supposed to be on this round part of the carb. I don't see any sign of a choke elsewhere
