Does anyone know of any build logs or other information on building a kart with a motorcycle engine? I was considering buying a 250 ninja motor and putting it on my old coyote race frame. any help is greatly appreciated.

How much power do you think a single mcp caliper with slotted rotor can handle? Do you think i would need front brake system for 20-30hp or 40-50hp?

What's the caliper and rotor off of? What's the HP spec on the engine?

Race kart brakes the brand is Mcp. Motor will be either 175cc 15hp or 250cc 35hp

I don't know enough about those brakes to be able to comment. At this point I would say use them and let your initial shakedown runs determine their suitability. Perhaps some others will weigh in on this, but I personally would be a bit doubtful about using "kart" brakes on a potentially heavy and fast machine.
