well it moves very smooth but its the little rod that pushes open the valve but it doesnt close any reason the rod is getting jammed...i really dont want to tear into this engine
ok so i was riding around outside and out of no where i lost all power turns out my #2 piston wasnt firing so i pulled off the head and turns out the exhaust valve is stuck:furious2: but i can hit it back into place and turn the crank and it will open just fine but it wont close???? spring looks...
ive tried to youtube it but no one has done a pedal on a 18.5hp opposed twin...i dont have to pulley on it yet i need a belt so i put everything stock back on...now i need a gas pedal
i got me a 18.5 hp opposed twin Briggs riding mower with no deck to use as a go kart...i changed the back pulley from a 10" to a 2" so i go fast...now the only problem is hooking up a gas pedal ive been at it for hours...any help ????
ok well i just decided to put my mower all back together and i just happend to find a 1n4007 diode so i solderd it in line and i started it up and measured with volt meter i was getting anywhere between 14-23v dc depending on rpms...is this good or bad....and is it safe to hook up to battery...
my mower doesnt have a wiring harness....didnt come with anything wired up i rewired everything myself....when i check one wire set to ac i get about 10-16v ac depend on the rpms....when i check the dc wire with meter set on dc i get nothing...?
i have the part that is right underneath the flywheel...and i know its the stator because the flywheel has magnets inside of it and they rotate around it.....i dont see any diode anywhere unless its really small....and i kno its the stator because it puts off ac just fine and lights my...
my murray riding lawn mower wont charge the battery i removed the flywheel and stator. the stator has 2 wires red,black..the stator has no diode on it....????? any help?
