I recently purchased an oxy acetylene torch kit. I have played around with it a bit and can get the job done but I have some ugly cuts. I don't think I have the regulated pressure set properly. Can someone tell me how many lbs or Kpa I should be using for the oxygen and acetylene?

What if I were too drill small holes in the shaft where the set screws go. Screw the setscrews into the holes on the shaft? It's only a 3.5 hp. but it seems to me that this would be a high torque spot and my thinking says it would tare those little set screws up.

I have a 13 horse honda motor that I had on a cart built for speed. It ran great on strait a ways but when I turned really sharp the motor died. I put it on another cart geared way down. I wanted it for torque. When I am doing donies, it dies on me. What is causing this?
