I haven't found one yet with the same body length as the original. Getting past that, visibly, the 90 vs 45 is just the angle at which the steering shaft/u-joint connects to the body of the steering gear. See pictures below.Hold up... This might help, Idk look into this 90 vs 45 degree thing. Can you show me a picture of the differences?
I ask because I also have that same rack in the same kart. When I first started "fixing up" our kart, I THOUGHT I needed a new rack. Without thinking twice, I ordered a "replacement" from GPS (which I denounce BTW, horrible store if you have any problems with their products). I ended up not needing it and selling it on Ebay but before I did, I gave it a quick look over, although through the plastic.
Thinking back, it looked like an exact replacement.
-But dont let this 'convince' you because I think ive been wrong once before. Almost positive it was the same tho.
Internally, though, it also means the gears inside meet up at 90 instead of 45. I don't know whether that affects steering radius by affecting the distance the shaft in the steering gear extends out from either side of the steering-gear body.
