Sooo...I went to my local convenience store to get a new charger for my cell phone....The clerk (fairly new...but already schooled on the Poboy) ...asked me how much it was. I said:" That's your job...maybe it's free!"

He said: "$9.99." I said: "Well just how did you come up with that?" He said: "Look at the sign! (on top of the rotating tree full of electronic BS.)

I said: "Hold on....I'm gonna turn that dadgum sign upside down!!!! Poboy "rollback"! $6.66....(how fitting! )

BTW: That dadgum charger I got was for an I peed or something..now I have to risk life , limb, and jail to go back again....

Well...got a new charger....Ummmm..not one to thump my chest.....but to be honest...I can outdrive 99% of the population with one headlight!

Well....sitting here smelling crabs as they cool down...my mom loaned me her credit card to get food....and I didn't really pay that much attention when I bought them, but with some other stuff I got....the bill at checkout was pretty high....so...I checked to see what these 6 live crabs actually cost .....ummmmm....ALMOST $16!

Don't get me wrong....these things taste awesome....(and so do the stuffed crabs I make with them) .....and it's cool they're alive and all....and these were good sized crabs....but...I didn't realize they weighed that much. I won't be doing this again any time soon!!!!

But...after I go through all the hard work of getting the meat out....they will be frozen in small packages to be mixed with much cheaper imitation crab meat to make stuffed crabs.

Eating some of this crab tonight...and...I thought I put too much Old Bay in...but...they kinda have a weird aftertaste....

Then I got to thinking....CRAP! I put vinegar in there!!! DADGUMMIT! $20 worth of stuff and all the time cleaning those crabs...and I'm pretty sure I put that frigging cleaning vinegar in there!

Worst thing is...the bottle wasn't all that big...and I paid a buck for it...and a gallon of distilled white vinegar was $2.28 at Wal-Mart!

So...I ordered a Tecrapsey carb on Amazon...didn't pay attention to the delivery date...then I saw it was almost a month...Oh well, I was wanting to get this carb in time to get this mower going for Mother's Day.


So...now I gotta wait again! !!!

Speaking of Chinese crap: those twitching lures guarantee a fish on every cast...or your money back!

Well....I went out in the backyard and made ten practice casts...and didn't catch a single fish. Seriously, that's a ridiculous claim anyway, and there are a lot of reviews saying they fished for hours without a bite.

On the other side of the coin though...is you can't catch fish where there aren't fish! The mantra is 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water....and 10% of the fishermen catch 90%of the fish caught. And...there are going to be days when 95% (or more) of the fish just aren't going to bite!

So...we keep getting rain and thunderstorms in the forecast...so I haven't went...as it's a half mile hike where I want to go....and it's very slow getting back to shore in a tube without paddle pushers and plowing through hydrilla!

But I'll let y'all know when I go...I'm pretty optimistic about my chances. Also, I want to pick up another baitcast reel, as I want fairly heavy line on these $15+ lures...and another one rigged with a plastic worm.

Sooo....go back to the store and buy a similar size package of meat....take it out and replace with the bad stuff and take it back!

Maybe I am smarter than Joey....(nah...just more devious! )

Can you still buy that stuff? It used to borderline melt the plastic parts together. That was the first time I was impressed with glue. Elmers didn't get it done.
