Ok....so the last couple of days....I've been waking up feeling half-human...so tried my hand at trout fishing the river....without success....

Might try again in the morning....one thing...I'm not as well as I think....I could barely drag my dead butt home each day after less than 2 hours of minimal movement.....

That's one thing I never got into....I one time used black and white flee flies under a bobber and caught a few....

I guess mainly....I can't see putting that much effort for a fish that weighs less than 5 lbs....

I've been out of commission for2 1/2 weeks and I just got back to work last night. Darned type A h1n1 flu that turned into pneumonia. I'll sure be glad to be feeling human again. Weaker than a new born puppy right now. So for all of you out there that are sick or injured, I feel you're pain and hope you all get well soon!

I can relate...not sure if I'm getting the best of this pneumonia or vice versa.....sometimes I feel pretty good....then BOOM....I gotta lay down and die.

Watched a little show where they talked about the decimation of porpoises and whales in international waters....and an unexpected hero came up....

Taiwan.....I'm not kidding....they are serious about protection of these sea mammals.....and the rest of this world ought to back them....

Educate yourselves and help as best you can....

And....I almost hate to say this.....but we are headed for hard times....(hopefully...our grandchildren won't have to).... but...we ARE screwing up our atmosphere....

Well, we're getting hammered here, heavy rain, extremely high winds, and hail. No electricity now. When it first started hailing, I looked out the front door, (it was already raining heavy with high winds) ...Sammy made a mad dash from under the car to the front door.....I've never seen that cat move so fast..As soon as I got him toweled off he went under the bed...(and he ain't coming out!!!!)

BTW: First thing I saw when the front hit was shingles flying off the roof and all manner of garbage blowing down the street....(garbage day today) ....

Then leaves and limbs coming down....the rain was really heavy and blowing sideways...(unfortunately, the direction of the weakest links in my sunroom and two of my sheds.

DOH! Had a window that was open 6" at the top on the sunroom on that side, and one shed has 6" of door rotten away at the bottom....needless to say with 40-60 mph winds....both got pretty wet....

You know, what really irks me is we had beautiful sunshine, 70°f weather for the last 3 weeks, and I spent almost the whole time bedridden.....I'm feeling a little better now, but the weather sucks...and the trout fishing is definitely out for a couple of weeks!!!!
